About This Adventure

This trek is a great introductory experience to the Himalaya for participants across a wide range of abilities, especially for those looking to step into the outdoors without the complexity of organising a long wilderness expedition. Set in a relatively secluded part of the lower Himalaya, it offers a rewarding short getaway that is thoughtfully designed with inclusion and support at its core. The journey begins with a gradual ascent to the watershed divide (approximately 8,000 ft) between the Upper Ganga and its western tributary, the Bhagirathi. Throughout the trek, activities are supported by trained guides, clear safety protocols, and a choice-based approach, enabling participants to engage at levels that align with their abilities, comfort, and energy.

Weather: Daytime temperatures typically range from a high of around 24°C to 29°C (75°F to 84°F). Nighttime temperatures are cooler, generally falling to a low of approximately 16°C to 20°C (61°F to 68°F).
